Former SuG vocalist Takeru has waken up from slumber by announcing his solo project, “sleepyhead”, last month. sleepyhead held its <0TH ANNIVERSARY LIVESHOW “Tomei Shingetsu” (“Transparent New Moon”)> at Shibuya’s TSUTAYA O-EAST on March 17. In the show, Takeru also announced his first full album, DRIPPING, which will deliver 13 tracks and start to be on sale on June 20. The limited edition will include the live DVD recorded during Tomei Shingetsu, and also a pillowcase designed in collaboration with the fashion brand million dollar orchestra, for which Takeru works as a designer.
Takeru also announced his first tour with shows in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, which will start July 6 at the BasementBar in Shimokitazawa, a Tokyo area.
Takeru said to his overseas fans, “I would like my album to reach everybody around the world and I also would like to play shows abroad. At this stage it is still hard to realize, but I won’t give up and will definitely take on this challenge. Please keep supporting me.”
