Anisong World Matsuri at Otakon® updates: JAM Project announces new album and tour!

OK ONers, this time we’re going to give you some updates on what some of the scheduled performers in Anisong World Matsuri at Otakon® are up to!

Let’s start with our favourite anisong super unit, JAM Project. They might not need introduction because they already have so many anisongs under their belt (we love their songs for Dynamic-produced anime!), and yet they’re not stopping. In the first edition of “MOTTO! MOTTO!! Radio” on May 19 on Niconico and JAM Project’s mobile fan app “MOTTO! MOTTO!! App”, Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endoh, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui, and Yoshiki Fukuyama appeared together and announced several things.

They previewed live video of songs The Hero!! -Ikareru Kobushini Hi wo Tsukero- and -Rescue Fire– from JAM Project LIVE TOUR 2016 ~AREA Z~. To the delight of fans, in the middle of the program, JAM Project announced that they’re going to perform at the World Cosplay Summit, release a new album this fall, and hold a tour in November. Tickets for the tour will be available first via the fan app. After the broadcast, app users were the first to view the premiere of the commercial for “JAM Project LIVE TOUR 2016 ~AREA Z~” Blu-ray/DVD release.

By the way, if you haven’t known what MOTTO! MOTTO!! App is, it was an app that was first released in Japan last year on November 23 for iOS/Android users, followed by its Taiwan release on April 1. The app includes members-only videos, concert videos, unlimited music playback, “fan feed” and more, providing many services for users to enjoy.

JAM Project will perform live in Washington, D.C., at Anisong World Matsuri at Otakon® 2017 on August 11.
