[UPDATE] An overwhelming response to 2-DAYS VIP category ticket early bird sale for A9 concerts in Singapore caused the tickets to be sold out within three minutes as it went on sale. Thus, additional tickets were added to normal sales that started from September the 1st.
Another good news is that the band will bring MIDNIGHT GALAXY, their latest merchandise collection, from Japan to the show in Singapore. The collection, designed by the band themselves, includes tote bag, guitar pick sets, T-shirt, and accessories such as bracelet, ring, tattoo stickers, and more. Fans are welcome to answer the survey being conducted to find more about their interest. Items popular demand will be included in the merchandise list.
Is that all? No! The promoter will also let fans vote for one of the poster designs which will be autographed and handed to 2-DAYS VIP and VIP ticket holders. Head to the promoter’s homepage and Facebook for further details.
After rocking Singapore last year in their first solo concert in the country, A9 (also known as Alice Nine) will return to the island on October 24th and 25th for their second. The two-day performance, part of their Asia tour after their comeback this year, will be held in The Singapore Airlines Theatre, LASALLE College of the Arts.
Last year’s solo concert in Singapore was even released as a DVD that eternalizes the passion from fans in Singapore that they have poured – and still are pouring – to the band over the years.
Vocalist Show enthused about their upcoming concerts, “This is our third time coming to Singapore for performance. Furthermore, it will be our first time holding a solo concert in Singapore over two days!”
Guitarist Tora – whose name means ‘tiger’ – is also excited about coming back to Singapore. He even said that he wants to change Singapore’s landmark ‘Merlion’ into ‘Mertiger’!
This year, not only doing a national tour, A9 will tour Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia, with only two stops getting two days of concert performance, Singapore being one of the two. And in Singapore, VIP ticket-holders who are coming for both days will be entitled to a free autographed copy of their upcoming CD release titled Ginga no oto, two autographed posters, and a handshake session with the band members after each show. Ginga no oto will be sold only at the band’s concerts, so this is a rare chance for fans to get their hands on the CD!
By working with world-renowned creators for their comeback, and also touring Japan and other countries, A9 want to reach out not only to their fans in Japan, but also to their loyal fans abroad. They want to have close in-person interactions with their fans through performance, and they can’t wait to be in Singapore again!
