Held in Shanghai Stadium, YG FAMILY 2014 GALAXY TOUR: POWER IN SHANGHAI successfully charmed 35,000 fans with performances from BIGBANG, 2NE1, PSY, EPIK HIGH and the monster rookie WINNER. Fans were jumping, screaming and enjoying each song delivered by the artistes because YG Family really knows how to heat up the show! Not only group stages, fans  were presented with solo and collaboration stages that could only be witnessed in YG FAMILY 2014 GALAXY TOUR.

As one of the most successful girl-groups in Korean music industry, 2NE1 started the show with their energetic songs like Fire and Crush, before hypnotizing the audience with the beautiful Come Back Home. The leader CL later had a special collaboration stage with G-Dragon in The Baddest Female and displayed her charisma in MTBD.

EPIK HIGH continued the concert with With You and a collaboration with Dara 2NE1, Love Love Love. Famous with their different style of hip-hop, the trio managed to capture new fans after signing with YG Entertainment. And in YG FAMILY 2014 GALAXY TOUR, EPIK HIGH showed how truly epic they were.

Next was the most-anticipated rookie this year WINNER. The five-membered group did well in capturing the audience’s attention, especially when they performed their winning-song Empty. They closed their set with Smile Again, but no worries, the rapper Mino was back on stage with Dara to cover TOP’s Doom Dada. 

Another special collaboration stage came from EPIK HIGH and Taeyang for Eyes, Nose, Lips. BIGBANG’s maknae Seungri did not want to miss the spotlight as well with his attractive rendition of G-Dragon’s Crayon.

The mighty PSY made the crowd dance to hit songs like Gentleman, Right Now and Champion. And it turned out Gangnam Style still had its magic when the whole stadium moved their body following the beat of the song.

After busy with their own solo project, BIGBANG came on stage with the full line-up, turning the stadium into a grand yellow ocean. The five member’s appearance together on on stage was enough to make the fans scream. With their songs like Tonight, Hands Up, Lies and Feeling, BIGBANG once again proved that they’re the kings of the stage.

All of the artistes came out for the encore. 2NE1’s Go Away, PSY’s Gangnam Style and finally BIGBANG’s Fantastic Baby ended the massive concert. Looking at the fans’ enthusiasm, YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Shanghai was, no doubt, a huge success.
